This web site seeks to:

  • Explain the importance of the unique Robertson Rainforest environment.
  • Introduce you to the Robertson Environment Protection Society (REPS), its aims, activities, achievements, organisation and purpose.
  • To encourage you to become involved in the protection and enhancement of the local environment, especially the rainforest for the betterment of all.

REPS holds regular meetings each month. There are alternate Committee meetings and presentation meetings each month. The Committee meetings seek to progress the group aims and the presentation meetings have an expert providing a presentation on a topic of interest (such as marsupials, snakes, local plants ….) with discussion and tea/coffee afterwards.

Our newsletter “Eucryphia” is published approximately 10 times a year and e-mailed to members and supporters. It’s also available in local Roberson businesses as a free publication. Previous versions can be viewed or downloaded via this website.

REPS has also published an information book on the Robertson Rainforest, otherwise known as the Yarrawa Brush. This can be purchased from REPS or select local business. Contact us for details. The contents of the book form part of this web site. The hardcopy book is available at a substantially discount to members of REPS. No downloadable e-book version is available.

The group also monitors local development applications that may negatively impact the local rainforest and when appropriate, raise such concerns with the developer or Council.

Thankyou for visiting the REPS web site, should you have any comments upon this web site, local environmental issues or REPS please send an email addressed to reps@reps.org.au and we shall reply as soon as practical.
